Leonardo Bertagnolli Winner the Stage 15 Giro d'italia in Faenza 161km, he's alone is last kilometers. Serge Pauwels in second place with his cervelo bike, But the pink jersey still with Denis Mencov.

Bertagnolli, a stage winner at the 2005 Vuelta a Espana, completed the 161-kilometer course in four hours, 18 minutes, 34 seconds. Serge Pauwels of the Cervelo team was second at 54 seconds back, and Team Columbia's Marco Pinotti was third with the same time.

It was the second stage win for the Italian Diquigiovanni squad after Michele Scarponi took Stage 6 last week.

Rabobank's Denis Menchov, the race's overall leader, finished safely with the main bunch to retain his hold on the pink jersey.

The three-week race continues Monday with Stage 16, a 237-kilometer ride from Pergola to Monte Petrano that includes four categorized climbs.
